BSF: Week 3

Last night, feiheli and I met for Indian food before class. We tried out Tandoor (which used to be "Nikita"), which drmellow and I abandoned when the chef left and went to Gold India. They closed a year or so ago, but have reopened under another name and with better food (and a nicer dining room). My Nav Rattan Korma and her Chicken Tikka Saag were particularly yummy, but the Muli Paratha... *sigh*. So yummy. It has unquestionably surpassed Aloo Paratha as my favorite Indian bread. It's the radishes, no doubt.

Following our mini-feast we headed to class, sneaking in at the last minute, after the slowest service in the world. Our small group met in the chair closet again this week. We had a different temporary DL. We sped through the answers to the Week 2 questions at the speed of sound. Crazy! It seemed really fast even to me, which was confirmed when we returned to the sanctuary and were the first group back there. So we hung out for 15 minutes and listened to some lovely organ preludes. I would really like to learn to play a pipe organ, more than the little bit of fooling around I've done on the one at my home church. I hear it's easier than you might think to learn the foot pedals; personally, I think it would be a bit disconcerting to play with your feet while manipulating dual keyboards. But I don't know.

Hopefully, my self-discipline will improve a little this week and I won't save my homework all for the night before class. Then again, I have my annual hospital in-service tonight, WNL tomorrow evening, the HOA general meeting on Thursday, and I'll have a houseguest on Friday. Things aren't looking too good.
