Tummyache

For the past week, every time I eat something, I feel sick. Even down to my morning cereal. I think the solution is to stop eating altogether. It's the only thing that makes me feel better.

Maybe I'm eating too much dairy. But meat is making me feel sick, too. I bought an exquisite little cookbook solely devoted to preparing Italian-style veggies today, so maybe I'll go that route for awhile. The only thing I've eaten lately that didn't seem to make my stomach churn was spinach and fried oysters.

Perhaps I should try a spinach and fried oyster diet...

Me too!
Ronette thinks I need to lay off the lemonade and limeade, but my tongue really likes them. I'm trying to brainstorm other reasons before I give them up completely.

Funny. I gave up Crystal Light Raspberry Ice about a week and a half ago. It tastes good, but was one of the first things I lost my appetite for.

And I had a good thing going with either cereal, yogurt or toast for breakfast, and now eating any of that puts my tummy in a foul mood for the rest of the day.

So for me it's the Crystal Light Pink Lemonade that has been making my mouth happy. Although my tummy has been put off of it this week. I decided it was the fake sugar and switched to Odwalla Limeade. And that wasn't working well either so no more. Boo hoo.

I guess I'll start eliminating other things today since the bagel that I desperately wanted this morning isn't sitting too well.

My tummy hurts just thinking about a spinach and fried oyster diet.

OK, but take that spinach and those fried oysters, add a few sauteed onions and mushrooms and a warm bacon vinaigrette... mmm.

SpongeBob disturbs me. I know that's a brilliant marketing ploy to get kids to eat their veggies, but it makes me want to run screaming (in the opposite direction) from one of my favorite leafy greens.
